StormBullet Stratosphere was created for the Bullet Hell Jam 6. The focus of this jam was to introduce a friend of mine with no game dev experience to creating games. The team size was only 2 people and the jam ran for 10 days. I decided we would use Godot as it uses slightly more conventional coding compared to something like UnrealEngine's visual scripting.
Though the game Jam ran for 10 days we used only half the time as it ran over a work week. A large portion of the time was spent explaining class structure through the use of UMLs. This ended up being an effective approach as it meant my friend could spend more time learning the GDScript language and less time figuring out how to lay classes out to avoid issues
